Funderburk Electrical Services is a regionally owned full service Electrical Contracting Company. We specialize in New Construction, Renovations, Upgrades, and offer 24 hour 7 days a week service. Founded in 2009, FES has seen significant growth and is now licensed to do business in eight states.

Jack FunderburkCEO

Jack has more than 25 years of progressive experience in on-the-job electrical projects, project management, and national accounts management. He has a strong background in project control, estimating and scheduling, and financial and personnel management. Prior to founding the company he had extensive project management and chief operating officer experience at large electrical service companies, supervising multi-million dollar projects such as the Sevier County Event Center, Vifan Manufacturing Facility and the Kauai Wastewater Treatment Plant. He founded Funderburk Electrical Services in 2009.

Earl Norman President of Operations

Earl has more than 23 years of service technician, project management and estimator experience. He has broad hands-on experience in heavy industrial, chemical, and manufacturing projects. His 15 years of estimator and project management experience includes the Mesa Engineering Office Building, Comast Master Headend Facility, Chestnut Ridge Gas Recovery, University of Tennessee Hess Hall, South Carrick Hall and Clement Hall renovations and upgrades, AT&T Wireless Service Upgrade and H.T. Hackney Roane County Facility. He is the Chief Estimator of the company's estimation department.

David Barnes President of Industrial Services

David has more than 31 years of experience in industrial project service and support. He has broad hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing facilities through-out North and South America. His strengths are in electrical projects for plant management and engineering, emergency support for plant maintenance departments, and power distribution and electrical controls setup and troubleshooting. He leads the company's industrial service department.

Mark RouseDirector of Continuing Education

Mark has more than 22 years of project management and supervision of field service technicians. He currently supervises service technician teams for a multitude of clients ranging from Heraeus Metal Processing in Morgan County, Tate and Lyle in Loudon County to Ripley's Aquarium in Sevier County. His project history includes Cherokee Health Systems Building renovation, US Cellular Expansion, Elavon Laboratory Expansion and Ripley's Aquarium Penguin Exhibit, WVLT-TV HD Upgrade and Brakebill Nursing Home Renovation.

Mark also administers the Funderburk Electrical apprenticeship program which is governed by NCCER and the United States Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship. Mark also serves as the Master Trainer to certify instructors. the program is also "Approved for Veterans Training".

Shane PattersonVice President of industrial Services

Shane serves as the company's safety director providing proactive safety support to employees and company customers. His safety oversight includes company office and warehouse facilities and customer construction and industrial sites. He is a qualified instructor for the company's (NCCER) National Center for Construction Education and Research Apprentice Program. He is also a qualified instructor for forklift operations, fall protection and ARC flash training. He is a member of the Associated Building Contractors and the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Chuck DenyerEstimator

Chuck has had more than 30 years of electrical experience in industrial and commercial construction with 15 years in estimating. He specializes in commercial electrical estimating. Chuck’s experience includes extensive work in low voltage power systems and high voltage industrial power systems.

Mike SimpsonEstimator / Assistant Project Manager

Mike has 22 years electrical service experience including project management. His project management support includes Knox County Rural Metro Headquarters, Liberty Bell Football Stadium and the Swaggerty Sausage Facility. He is a lead estimator in the company's estimation department.

Betty DoyleController

Betty has over 29 years of experience in Accounting, HR, and office management. She attended Draughon’s Business College and Tennessee State Vocational. Betty has worked in the electrical contracting business for over 20 years and has developed a thorough working knowledge of accounting and financial management practices in the electrical service, general contracting, and construction industries.
